Keyate Marshall, professionally known as Quavo, is an American rapper hailing from Athens, Georgia, born on April 2, 1991. He rose to prominence as the frontman of the highly successful hip hop group Migos, which he co-founded with his nephew Takeoff and their mutual friend Offset in 2008. The group released four commercially successful studio albums before disbanding in 2023.
Quavo’s influence extends beyond Migos, as he has been featured on numerous Billboard Hot 100 top 10 hits. Notable collaborations include Post Malone’s “Congratulations,” certified diamond by the RIAA, and DJ Khaled’s hits “No Brainer” and “I’m the One,” the latter reaching the pinnacle of the chart.
In 2018, Quavo ventured into a solo career with the release of his debut solo album, “Quavo Huncho,” which peaked at number two on the Billboard 200. Reflecting on his journey, his second album, “Rocket Power” (2023), serves as a tribute to his late nephew Takeoff. Quavo continues to leave an indelible mark on the rap scene with his versatile talents and collaborative endeavors.
